About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Assistant to join our team at Moët Hennessy Wine Estates. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized professional to play a key role in supporting our finance and operations functions.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including accounting, administrative support, reporting, and procurement. They will work closely with the operational team to contribute to forecast processes, stock management, and production planning.

Main Responsibilities
  • Accounting & Administration (20%):
    • Support month-end close and process invoices.
    • Manage bulk/barrel sales and assist with CAPEX requests and inventory counts.
  • Procurement (15%):
    • Manage supplier creation in SAP Ariba and oversee purchase orders.
    • Handle office supply procurement.
  • Demand Planning & Logistics (15%):
    • Manage stock in markets and coordinate vintage allocations.
    • Oversee shipment planning and required documentation.
  • Financial Reporting & Controlling (15%):
    • Report actuals in tool and analyze P&L data.
    • Support costing analysis and participate in monthly KPI presentations.
  • Winery Stock Control (10%):
    • Manage daily stock control, perform reconciliations, and prepare for audits.
    • Oversee free bottle stock and reporting with SAP, POS, and production software.
  • Budgeting & Strategic Planning (10%):
    • Collaborate on budget forecasting and consolidate data.
    • Incorporate budget figures into the supply chain strategy.
  • Reception & Administration (10%):
    • Manage reception duties, handle incoming calls, and oversee security procedures.
    • Manage courier/postage services.
  • Internal Control & IT (5%):
    • Contribute to internal control assessments and support audits.
    • Participate in software improvement initiatives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in finance, business, accounting, or controlling.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Good understanding of financial systems and experience with SAP Ariba.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage pressure and meet deadlines.
