About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect Principal to join our team at AXA Group. As a key member of our technical team, you will play a critical role in the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing the cloud environment for AXA DCP based on its requirements, utilizing emerging and best technologies to design the Architecture of the Platform and its components.
  • Evaluating, designing, and improving solutions while working with feature teams and the security team to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the cloud environment.
  • Collaborating with other technology team members to complete projects, bringing support for the engineering and development of AWS Cloud Architectures using the Architecture, Building blocks, and Blueprint principles.
  • Designing with frugality and management of the cost of the proposal architecture designed, converting the technical requirements of projects into suitable architecture.
  • Ensuring cloud solutions and operations are reliable, taking care as priority number one the security of cloud computing solutions.
  • Aligning organizational Architecture strategy and infrastructure decisions aligned with CTO's Strategy and with overall business and technology strategy.
  • Identifying architectural design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommending changes or enhancements.
  • Testing security architecture in relationship with feature and developer teams to ensure they behave as expected.
  • Using current programming language and technologies to write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications.
  • Staying abreast of new technologies and trends in cloud computing.
  • Training users in implementation or conversion of systems.
Requirements
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to share insights with stakeholders of all levels, including entry-level programmers, business managers, project team members, and senior executives.
  • Being a thought leader who creates and presents content using AWS as their building blocks, you're able to be the Leading Solutions Architect Principal and subject matter expert who can explain complex topics about Cloud Architecture, Networking, security design principles, etc.
  • Proven expertise in the AWS Cloud Architecture, you have several key AWS Certification for Solution Architecture Associate level as a must-have, professional level would be appreciated, and other key AWS certifications or specialities.
  • High-level collaboration skills to assist with several different areas of cloud architecture management.
  • Project management skills to orchestrate cloud migrations and new system integrations seamlessly.
  • Strong technical expertise (with critical thinking and analytical skills), you're proficient in popular programming languages like Python or Java, good understanding of how databases, networks, and other critical IT functions work.
  • Ability to integrate and automate an organization's IT system processes, and a proven experience working with legacy information systems.
  • Good knowledge of standards related to regulatory compliance risk management (ISO 27001).
  • Master from engineering school or university equivalence.
  • Proven experience in building/designing user-facing software products and services.
  • Proven experience in a technical senior management role, developing and nurturing teams of motivated technologists.
