**Job Summary**
Axa is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect Principal to lead the development and implementation of our cloud-based solutions. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud computing systems, ensuring security and reliability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud computing systems, including cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and systems for managing, monitoring, and maintaining cloud systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including feature teams and security teams, to ensure cloud solutions meet business requirements and are secure and reliable.
- Develop and maintain cloud architecture, including designing with frugality and managing cost, ensuring cloud solutions are reliable, and aligning organizational architecture strategy and infrastructure decisions with business and technology strategy.
- Identify architectural design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements.
- Test security architecture in relationship with feature and developer teams to ensure they behave as expected.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and trends in cloud computing and train users in implementation or conversion of systems.
Requirements:
- Proven expertise in AWS Cloud Architecture, with several key AWS Certifications for Solution Architecture Associate level as a must-have, professional level would be appreciated.
- High-level collaboration skills to assist with several different areas of cloud architecture management.
- Project management skills to orchestrate cloud migrations and new system integrations seamlessly.
- Strong technical expertise, with critical thinking and analytical skills, proficient in popular programming languages like Node.Js, Python or Java, good understanding of how databases, networks, and other critical IT functions work.
- Ability to integrate and automate an organisation's IT system processes, and a proven experience working with legacy information systems.
- Good knowledge of standards related to regulatory compliance risk management (ISO 27001).
- Master from engineering school or university equivalence.
- Proven experience in building/designing user-facing software products and services.
- Proven experience in a technical senior management role, developing and nurturing teams of motivated technologists.
