About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Reliability Engineer to join our team at Inspectorio. As a key member of our database team, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational excellence of our database platform. This includes maintaining a stable, secure, compliant, and highly available database environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage databases in a cloud environment with end-to-end automation, including administration, observability, troubleshooting, configuration changes, upgrades, and migrations.
- Work independently and closely with developers, providing DBA support for multiple applications in development, QA, Staging, and Production environments.
- Effectively design, implement, maintain, and optimize databases in challenging environments.
- Troubleshoot and monitor database performance and optimize queries for efficiency.

Requirements

- At least 4+ years hands-on experience in database administration, with a strong focus on PostgreSQL.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- SQL expert, proficient in languages like Python or other programming languages.
- Utilize expertise in cloud security to implement and maintain security controls, monitoring, and compliance measures for cloud-based database applications.
- Good knowledge of database design principles, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of any one of cloud environments like GCP and AWS, including compute, networking, storage, and security.
