Clinical Mako Product Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Mako Product Specialist to join our team at Stryker Iberia S.L. in Madrid, Spain. As a Clinical Mako Product Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing clinical product support to end-users, including surgeons, healthcare professionals, and nurses, and on-site guidance and assistance during surgical procedures with the Mako robotics system.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical product support to end-users, including surgeons, healthcare professionals, and nurses, and on-site guidance and assistance during surgical procedures with the Mako robotics system.
- Prepare pre-operative CT scans for use in conjunction with the Robotic Arm Interactive Orthopaedic Mako system to assist surgeons in preoperative implant planning, implant sizing, and positioning.
- Provide surgeons and OR staff with training and clinical/technical support during the surgery of the robotic arm applications, associated equipment, and instruments to ensure ideal placement and precision of the hip or knee implant.
- Solve potential product problems for customers in a highly satisfactory manner.
- Collaborate with Sales Representatives and Marketing to increase public awareness and highlight clinical benefits of the products and build strong relationships with key surgeons and OR staff at targeted accounts.
- Provide ongoing education and be a crucial conduit to our Stryker engineers for feedback on product design.
- Create case reports, resolve product problems, obtain purchase orders, monitor inventory, and assist sales and marketing teams in an effort to increase account growth of the Mako robot.
- At least 1 year of experience as a clinical support specialist, nurse, physiotherapist, application specialist, product specialist, paramedic, or similar.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the medical field.
- University degree within the field of biomedical engineering, medical technology, health sciences, or similar.
- Orthopedic surgery experience is a plus, but not a must.
- Strong customer interaction experience and a high level of stress resistance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with all levels of a medical department.
- Natural talent to understand and connect with others.
- Detail-oriented, curious, and a fast learner.
- Demonstrated knowledge of business administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required (minimum C1 level in both languages).
- Valid driver's license.
- Company car, including fuel card and all services.
- MAKO Product Training, including a 6-month product training in English, co-traveling, surgery observation in the operating room, and a final exam.
