CA SW Product Manager
Job Description:
At Hewlett-Packard, we're transforming the way we deliver services and solutions to our customers. As a Customer Assurance SW Product Manager, you'll play a key role in driving this transformation. Your main duties will include providing requirements for future SW/Solution products, driving transformation processes across the service organization, and managing escalations from the field.
Responsibilities:
New Software/Solution Introduction:
• Define requirements to meet service & support customer journey requirements for each product platform.
• Partner with CA Product Managers to ensure progress at different milestones.
• Define requirements for future SW products coming from the field request to enable continuous improvement.
• Validate SW and services value proposition and performance with customers.
• Provide feedback to development teams to fix issues before solution introductions.
• Define processes to support customers on SW/solution properly and collaborate effectively across the organization.
• Create proper connections to other businesses to understand potential synergies.
• Develop training for Services for SW products.
Define SW Training Path:
• Develop a training path for Services engineers to ensure proper adoption of new tools and teach needed skills.
• Connect with Software and Services teams to improve knowledge across organizations.
Security Product Management:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision and strategy.
• Develop business cases for new features and services.
• Prioritize security features and enhancements in the product roadmap.
• Manage the delivery of new security features, services, and upgrades.
• Provide advice to management, product teams, and R&D on security considerations.
• Develop strategies to address security risks in product design and implementation.
• Stay informed about cybersecurity best practices, standards, and emerging threats.
Elevation Management:
• Support regional delivery teams by managing technical escalations, providing high technical troubleshooting knowledge through engagement with SW and Services teams.
• Set up and improve processes to capture customer issues, providing a customer impact assessment for each problem and enabling a fast understanding of product failures.
Requirements:
• Strong understanding of software development and security principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to drive transformation processes and manage escalations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in product management and security product management.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and standards.
• Ability to stay informed about emerging threats and technologies.
