Our commitment to creativity and collaboration with independent artists from around the world has enabled us to offer unique garments from the Pampling and Wituka brands at competitive prices. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented People Manager to join our team.Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled People Manager to oversee the management of our shop staff, ensuring efficient scheduling, compliance with labour regulations, and effective human resources optimisation. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in similar positions, preferably in sales or retail environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing and optimising shop staff schedules to ensure efficient coverage and operational fluidity.
  • Ensuring compliance with labour regulations and promoting a safe and fair working environment.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes and implementing effective tools to enhance team performance.
  • Managing the use of digital tools for planning, monitoring, and evaluating staff performance.
  • Serving as a point of contact for labour conflicts and fostering a culture of open and constructive communication.
  • Liaising with the Human Resources department to manage employee terminations, contract adjustments, and other personnel-related matters.
What We Offer

We offer a dynamic and collaborative work environment, a 40-hour working week with office hours from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, and opportunities for development and leadership training.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in commerce, marketing, or HR.
  • Training in sales management and commerce.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in similar positions, ideally in sales or retail environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of digital tools for people management and resource planning.
  • Training and sales management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve and exceed their objectives.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to adapt to changing environments.
  • A strong focus on teamwork, fostering an environment of collaboration and collective commitment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, addressing challenges proactively and efficiently.
