Expert in Water Risk Management and Climate Change Adaptation

We are seeking a highly experienced Hydrologist and Climate Change Specialist to join our Environment team in Madrid or Bilbao. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading hydrological and climate change assessments, water resources management, and hydrosystems analysis.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead hydrological and climate change assessments, water resources management, and hydrosystems analysis
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality results
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex water risk management and climate change adaptation challenges
- Provide expert advice on hydraulic and mitigation works, hydrological and hydraulic modeling, and Disaster Risk Management (DRM)
Requirements
- Master's degree in climate change, water, hydrology, or natural risks
- At least 15 years of professional experience in engineering and/or environmental consultancy
- Experience in leading hydrological and climate change assessments, water resources management, or hydrosystems analysis
- Experience in consultancy projects with multilaterals
- Familiarity with modeling software such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, TETIS, IBER, EPANET, EPA SWMM, and other similar ones
- Advanced English language skills
