Tender Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tender Specialist to join our team at Stryker Iberia S.L. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the tender management process, ensuring that our submissions are accurate, compliant, and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively support the tender management elements of the business, working individually and as part of the team to research and understand individual pre-qualification tender requirements.
- Accompany the commercial team throughout the whole life of the tender, including the pre-tender phase, response preparation, and execution.
- Develop and implement a winning tender strategy, coordinating high-quality tender submissions in a timely manner.
- Close cooperation with the commercial team to deploy the answer to tenders, share information, and proceed in the business process.
- Analyze tender results, WON/LOST, and follow the metrics and KPIs to measure and monitor the success of the tenders.
- Maintain a library of frequently used documents and standard responses.
- Follow up on awarded and lost tenders, duration, price update, and renewal.
- Seek opportunities for new businesses and forward them to the Divisions.
- Collect and analyze data utilizing Stryker's systems and databases to obtain reports that will anticipate our tender strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in law or similar.
- Native or fluent Portuguese and native or fluent Spanish.
- Professional level of English.
- Up to 5 years of working experience in public procurement or areas like customer service, sales, etc.
- Ability to work efficiently with cross-functional teams and people at different levels in a matrix organization.
- Strategic and conceptual thinker.
- Team player.
- Multi-tasker, disciplined in managing own time.
- Self-motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision.
- Excellent written and oral command of the English and Spanish languages.
