Corporate Credit Risk Analyst

Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough credit reviews on corporate mid-tier cases, ensuring accurate risk assessments.
- Negotiate with customers and Relationship Managers to onboard new customers or expand existing facilities.
- Make informed credit recommendations on cases with risk exposures between €100,000 and €750,000.
- Meet tight onboarding deadlines and manage time effectively to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Investigate and analyze credit risk, preparing trigger reviews and negotiating collaterals as needed.
- Monitor customer accounts to maintain credit quality and minimize risk.
- Investigate, review, and interpret credit and financial information from various sources, including reporting services and credit bureaus.
- Coordinate relationships between Relationship Managers, internal stakeholders, and partners to facilitate customer onboarding.
- Provide credit information and references as requested by customers, Relationship Managers, or other agencies.
- Collaborate with Fraud, Collections, and other business units to minimize risk and potential loss.
- Build strong relationships with other business areas and share best practices to drive success.
- Ensure adherence to the Credit Policy and work closely with the CDD team to meet onboarding deadlines.
- Ability to analyze complex financial statements and interpret key financial benchmarks.
- Knowledge of risk management, including liquidity risk and macroeconomic risk.
- Understanding of card scheme requirements and their impact on Elavon and customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and technical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and strong written and spoken English.
- Finance qualification, ideally CIMA or ACCA, and proficiency in other languages (German, Norwegian, Polish) is desirable.
