Senior PSA Engineer for External Events

Holtec International, a global leader in nuclear energy, is seeking a highly skilled Senior PSA Engineer for External Events to join its multidisciplinary team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting internal and external events probabilistic safety analysis evaluations of the SMR-300 plant throughout its design and construction phases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support internal and external events PSA evaluations
  • Develop and maintain databases, hazard curves, and fault tree models
  • Quantify and determine risk significance for SSCs credited in external events PSA
  • Participate in requirements development, detailed development, engineering analysis, and technical documentation
Requirements:
  • Experience with CAFTA suite of computer codes
  • Ability to develop and maintain external events analyses
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
