Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PSA Engineer for External Events to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting internal and external events probabilistic safety analysis evaluations of our SMR-300 plant throughout its design and construction phases.

The PSA Engineer for External Events will work closely with engineers, designers, and analysts in a dynamic development environment. The candidate will participate in daily activities of the multinational PSA team, ensuring continued technical communication and information exchange between various PSA task leaders during the development of external events PSA for the SMR plant in its design and construction phases.

The ideal candidate will have experience in performing external events analyses, including the development of supporting databases, hazard curves, fault tree modeling, quantification, and determination of risk significance for SSCs credited in the external events PSA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support internal and external events probabilistic safety analysis evaluations of the SMR-300 plant
  • Work closely with engineers, designers, and analysts in a dynamic development environment
  • Participate in daily activities of the multinational PSA team
  • Ensure continued technical communication and information exchange between various PSA task leaders
  • Perform external events analyses, including the development of supporting databases, hazard curves, fault tree modeling, quantification, and determination of risk significance for SSCs credited in the external events PSA
