About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the CEO and executive team, providing strategic planning and guidance.
  • Lead capital raise processes and M&A deals, ensuring the company's financial growth and stability.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with lending and financial institutions, representing the company's interests.
  • Coordinate and review financial reports, including annual, quarterly, and monthly reports, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee the accounting operations team, including payables, receivables, payroll, and tax management.
  • Manage the organization's business plan, ensuring alignment with financial goals and objectives.
  • Optimize tax and legal global structure, minimizing financial risks and ensuring compliance.
  • Manage cash flow, selecting and engaging consultants, auditors, and other providers as needed.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience as a CFO/VP Finance/Head of Finance.
  • 10+ years total accounting or finance experience.
  • Experience in building processes and managing teams of 5+ people.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Master's Degree, MBA, or CFA preferred.
  • Experience in M&A or investment banking a plus.
  • Outstanding knowledge of GAAP and IFRS reporting.
  • Experience coordinating with IT staff to manage and implement accounting systems.
