Financial Controller Opportunity at Okto

Okto, a leading digital payments provider, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join its Finance team. As a pivotal member of the organization, you will be responsible for driving financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements, and supporting field teams to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Report directly to the Director of Finance and drive Budget and Forecast procedures.
  • Benchmark actuals against planning and drive correction plans.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
  • Work closely with local accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and support in the decision-making process.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements, company internal processes, tax legal and statutory requirements.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Economics, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Post Graduate studies in Finance, Accounting, or a Professional Qualification in Finance or Accounting is desirable.
  • Excellent command of Spanish and English language.
  • Knowledge of IFRS standards and management accounting principles.
  • 5+ years of overall finance experience, preferably in Fintech, Financial Services, IT, or Betting industry.
