Job Overview:

Hitachi Energy Grid Integration Organization is seeking a skilled Digital Business and Data Analyst to join the Quality and Operation Management function. The ideal candidate will identify and glean insights from data, drive strategic digital initiatives, and enhance business decision-making capability.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Data Analysis and Insights: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable reports and dashboards.
  2. Data Extraction and Loading: Extract, transform, and load data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  3. Power BI Development: Develop and maintain Power BI data models and visualizations that provide valuable insights.
  4. Process Optimization: Conduct in-depth data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process automation and optimization.
  5. Performance Metrics: Design and implement data-driven KPIs, metrics, and reports to measure performance and monitor progress towards organizational goals.
  6. Staying Up-to-Date: Stay updated on the latest advancements in Power BI, Artificial Intelligence, and data analytics to recommend and implement best practices.
  7. Quality and Productivity: Improve quality, productivity, and efficiency of projects through integration and automation, IoT solutions, AI, cloud, and advanced analytics.
  8. Data Security: Ensure data security and compliance by adhering to data governance policies and procedures.
  9. Digitalization Transformation: Support the digitalization transformation program in the Quality domain, identify and lead strategic digital initiatives.
  10. Documentation and Training: Develop and update documentation and training material related to quality digitalization tools deployed in Grid Integration.
  11. Collaboration and Decision-Making: Collaborate with Global and Regional Quality Managers in business, performance, and data analysis, and objective decision-making on prioritization of activities.
  12. Digitalization Projects: Support the timely implementation of various digitalization projects within Operation and Quality Grid Integration.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field.
  2. Experience: Preferable 5 to 7 years' experience in business analysis, data analysis, and digital transformation.
  3. Skills: Proven experience in Data Analysis, preferably with expertise in Power BI and data analysis tools.
  4. Proficiency: Strong proficiency in creating visually appealing and interactive reports and dashboards.
