We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operational Excellence to join our team at Importante Empresa. - Develop and Maintain Metrics and Dashboards: Create and maintain metrics and dashboards to track progress and share results with others involved.
- Identify and Evaluate Operational Inefficiencies: Identify and evaluate operational inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement across various departments.
- Implement Lean Six Sigma Methodologies: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies, Kaizen events, and other improvement frameworks.
- Lead and Oversee Large-Scale Projects: Lead and oversee large-scale projects from initiation to completion, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Collaborate with Individuals Across the Organization: Collaborate with individuals across the organization to lead and support change management efforts.
- Oversee the Selection and Management of External Consultants: Oversee the selection, onboarding, and management of external consultants, contractors, or vendors to provide services or expertise.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in manufacturing technical operations and a proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.
- Proven experience leading continuous improvement projects, including defining project scope, managing timelines, and resources.
- Supply Chain experience, including demonstrated ability to manage and drive operational performance improvements.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with extensive experience in effectively managing teams from different departments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate, influence, and connect with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively use data in decision-making.
