At IPC Systems, Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with monthly general ledger accounting entries, including payroll, inventory, leases, and accruals. You will also be responsible for bank and account reconciliations, monthly account variance explanations, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of Oracle Cloud functionality to automate and streamline accounting processes.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries to record accounting activity related to commissions, payroll, inventory, leases, and accruals.
  • Assist with general ledger activity questions for the consolidated and statutory audits.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations related to material general ledger accounts.
  • Complete a monthly fluctuation analysis and provide commentary related to the accounting results for the monthly reporting package.
  • Refine the monthly general ledger accounting process to increase efficiencies and improve controls.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Accounting.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience from public accounting and/or multinational company.
  • Oracle Cloud experience preferable but not required.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of US GAAP and internal controls.
  • Detail-oriented with demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to adapt to change.
  • Strong Excel skills a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
