About the Role

Amazon Spain Services, S.L.U. - B76 is seeking a highly skilled AML Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Registration and Compliance team. As a key member of our Know Your Customers programme, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our anti-money laundering processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough AML quality audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to deliver high-quality findings and support ongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on AML quality audit processes and procedures to business and operations teams.
  • Develop and maintain guidance and program documents to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Conduct a variety of investigation and audit types, including suspicious activity, sanctions, and enhanced due diligence.
  • Share industry expertise through audits and provide written, professional feedback to stakeholders.
  • Apply analytical and detailed thought processes to various product types and services within an AML construct.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as compliance, risk management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in compliance, AML, risk, or assurance functions.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English (B2 level or higher).
  • Working knowledge of financial institutions, money service businesses, and/or banking compliance in the EU, including anti-money laundering, credit compliance, and consumer protection regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving and operational process skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to effectively articulate concerns and provide cohesive feedback to leadership and colleagues.
  • Intermediate+ Excel working knowledge.
  • High energy, creativity, and an entrepreneurial spirit, with a desire to work in a fast-growing and changing environment.
  • Ability to work within a matrixed environment and cross-functionally with operations and technology teams.
