About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist II to join our Bing Local team at Microsoft. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving projects from design through implementation, experimentation, and finally shipping to our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement large-scale machine learning models to improve the accuracy and relevance of search results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative search experiences that leverage artificial intelligence and deep learning techniques.
  • Own the development of state-of-the-art algorithms and techniques for analyzing and transforming large datasets to build world-class search and information retrieval products.
  • Work in a geographically distributed team environment where collaboration and innovation are valued.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Considerable experience in statistics, predictive analytics, research, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proficiency in coding languages such as C++, C#, C, Java, or Python.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in a related field.
