**Job Summary:**
We're looking for a seasoned security professional to join our team as a High Security Operations Manager. As the guardian of our estate, you'll be responsible for leading a team of 12 security operatives, ensuring they're equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Leading a top-performing security team: You'll motivate and supervise 12 security operatives across our Warehouses and HQ, ensuring they're adequately trained and equipped to handle various security situations.
- Planning and scheduling: You'll develop and implement effective staff rotas, guaranteeing adequate cover and maintaining a smooth operation.
- Training and development: From fire safety to access control, you'll ensure your team is up-to-date on all the latest security measures, providing them with the skills needed to excel in their roles.
- Regular security patrols: You'll conduct regular security patrols of both locations, identifying potential security risks and implementing measures to mitigate them.
- Liaising with the wider team: You'll work closely with facilities management, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to maintain a secure and efficient working environment.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a security leader (3+ years) with a strong track record of success in similar roles.
- SIA Licence - a must-have for any serious security professional.
- Fully qualified SIA security operative or higher (e.g., SIA Manager).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to identify potential security threats.
- IT literacy and proficiency in security software applications.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
