Job Title: Web Administrator

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Administrator to join our team at ALTER SOLUTIONS. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering on-going administration and support for our Web Hosting Service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and maintenance for our web hosting infrastructure
  • Ensure the smooth operation of our web applications and services
  • Collaborate with our development team to resolve technical issues and implement new features
  • Develop and maintain documentation for our web hosting infrastructure

Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of Linux operating system administration and web applications
  • Experience with versioning systems (git) and cloud-based services (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of Open-Source Web Servers (Nginx, Apache)
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Cloud certifications (Azure & AWS) are highly desirable

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work remotely within the CET Time Zone and be available for on-call duties one week per month.
