Operations Manager

As an Area Manager at Amazon Road Transport Spain, S.L.U., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our delivery stations. Your primary responsibility will be to manage a team of up to 25 associates on shift, and circa 6 direct reports, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong communication processes to ensure accurate information flows across Amazon teams.
- Scale services, tools, and processes to enable business growth in our CO footprint, complexity, and geographic dispersion.
- Work closely with the Supply Chain team to align and execute the strategy at DS and country level.
- Optimize planning, execution, process improvement, and track progress against goals.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, drive resolution of critical issues, and provide escalation management.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, Science, or related fields.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to quantitatively analyze challenges.
- Fluent English (written and verbal communication).
- Experience with performance metrics and process improvement.
- Advance working knowledge of Excel.
- Understanding of Logistics operations.
- Proven track record leading teams of 10+ people.
- Strong logical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Working experience on programming and coding languages (SQL or Python).
The designated shift pattern for this role is rotative (Sun - Thu and Tue - Sat) each 12 weeks. Time: 12:50 to 21:00 CET.
