About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with customers to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services in the Financial Services domain.
  • Help organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud.
  • Develop and execute a strategy to build mindshare and broad use of AWS within enterprise customers.
  • Connect technology with measurable business value and think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.
  • Be a trusted customer advocate and build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
  • 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working directly in customer implementations.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
  • Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
