Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Partner to join our People & Culture team at Primark. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in supporting the business effectively and delivering an amazing Colleague and customer experience.
Your primary responsibility will be to partner with Recruitment and Retail teams to implement the workforce plan, ensuring that we have the right people in the right roles to drive business success. You will also coach Area Retail Leadership in people management, supporting them in developing their skills and abilities.
In addition, you will work closely with P&C Store Business Partners to identify training needs, foster a positive company culture, and analyze engagement surveys. You will also implement well-being programs, collaborate with Retail Leadership on performance management, and develop talent pipelines and oversee succession planning.
As a Business Partner, you will be a trusted advisor to the business, providing subject matter expertise and influencing decision-making to drive business outcomes. You will also work closely with works councils and trade unions, ensuring compliance with people policies and advising on employee relations.
We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive development and change. You should be adept at building and maintaining professional relationships with colleagues and teams, supporting our HR initiatives with effective communication and a clear business vision.
Regular travel and visits to stores will be required, and you will need to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. A solid background in HR is essential, and experience in industry, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and distribution would be highly valued.
