Job Summary:
The Environmental, Safety, and Security (ESS) Officer plays a vital role in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment at Agri Exim Global Philippines. This position is responsible for implementing and monitoring the company's safety, security, health, and environmental programs to ensure adherence to local and international regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing and enforcing safety protocols to mitigate risks and maintain a safe working environment.
- Developing and reviewing safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
- Providing expert guidance on safety legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Maintaining accurate records of safety incidents, injuries, and near-miss reports.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of solid experience as a Safety Officer or in a related field.
- DOLE-accredited Safety Officer 3 certification is required.
- BOSH and COSH training is highly preferred.
- Pollution Control Officer (PCO) accreditation is an advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international safety legislation and regulatory compliance.
- Strong understanding of hazardous materials, workplace safety protocols, and risk mitigation strategies.
