Our headquarters are based in Spain, and we are the world's largest olive oil company, with leading brands such as Bertolli, Carapelli, Hojiblanca, Carbonell, and Koipesol.
Job OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced and talented professional to join our team as a Global Brand Director for Bertolli in our Global Headquarters. As a key member of our Marketing Global Team, you will be responsible for managing and developing communication and media plans, establishing synergies with different countries, and taking ownership of key performance indicators (KPIs) for various brand/market combinations and the Bertolli brand as a whole.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop communication and media plans with responsibility for investment decisions.
- Establish synergies with different countries through the instruments defined by the Marketing Global Team.
- Take responsibility for the main KPIs of the different brand/market combinations and Bertolli as a whole.
- Continuous communication with Business Units (BUs).
- Co-lead and coordinate the strategy of the Bertolli brand, ensuring global coherence and local relevance, in collaboration with marketing leaders and the Bertolli Brand Coalition.
- Support the development of fundamental branding, including Brand Ambition, Consumer Target, Brand Positioning, Communication, Visual Identity, Pricing, Innovation, and other elements of the marketing mix.
- Support the development of Bertolli brand innovation projects, identifying key global platforms and elevating the brand's presence.
- Ensure brand consistency across key countries.
- Active participation and contribution to the Deoleo Global Steering Committee and Marketing Leadership Team, embodying the collaborative approach of the Deoleo marketing community.
- Participate/Lead one specific transversal project per year to contribute to the overall marketing community, working together with the Chief Marketing Officer and Brand Coalition Team Members.
- University Education with a Degree or equivalent qualification, with a post-graduate marketing qualification desirable.
- Proven expertise and wide-ranging experience in Strategic Marketing, specifically communication and innovation, at a senior level in a FMCG global organization.
- Strong business acumen and preferably marketing experience in global consumer brands.
- Experience functioning effectively in a senior-level environment, able to operate effectively with senior managers within the Company.
- High-level Consumer Marketing knowledge.
- Desirable: experience in the USA.
- Proven ability to think strategically and translate global marketing vision and strategies into a compelling vision and story at local and BU level.
- Able to work with competing goals and resource priorities; able to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet common targets.
- Be 'Inspiring' across diverse, multiple markets.
- Demonstrate ability to influence/persuade others, with great communication skills in using compelling arguments to gain the support and commitment of others.
- Cross-cultural awareness and ability to work with very different cultures.
- Fluent in spoken and written English. Second/third European language an advantage.
