- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and coordinate documentation to support project participation in offshore wind auctions and development phases.
- People Management: Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and project execution.
- Technical Development: Contribute to the development of technical solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Project Meetings and Reporting: Attend and conduct project meetings, documenting project results and progress.
- Risk Management: Identify, track, and manage project delivery risks, ensuring transparent and informed business decisions.
- Knowledge Transfer: Ensure knowledge transfer between projects, maintaining a high level of technical expertise.
- Design Review and Verification: Review and verify design documentation related to geotechnical studies, foundations, and cable buried assessments.
We are looking for a highly experienced Geotechnical Project Manager with a strong background in offshore wind projects. The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 10 years of professional experience in offshore projects, with a minimum of 5 years in offshore wind energy.
- A Master's degree or PhD in civil engineering, preferably with a focus on geotechnical engineering.
- Strong technical background in offshore wind projects, including numerical modeling and seismic design.
- Experience in specification and supervision of geotechnical offshore site investigations and ground model definition.
- Experience in design of offshore wind foundations, floating and bottom-fix, including driven piles, drilled piles, monopiles, spud-cans, suction caissons, drag anchors, gravity bases, etc.
- Experience in cable routing, Cable Burial Risk Assessment (CBRA) studies, and subsea trenching equipment selection.
- Experience with landfall design, including open and HDD solutions.
- Programming skills in Matlab or Python.
- Experience in project management, with an understanding of technical interfaces and project finance management.
- Fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English.
- Experience with foundation design to API, DNV, and ISO standards.
