Job Title: Assistant Chief Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Chief Engineer to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a key member of our technical operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out all tasks related to the Chief Engineer's position as assigned by General Management.
  • Ensure the technical operations of the hotel, both inside and outside of the facilities, are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Operate equipment and facilities in the most economical manner, adhering to technical rules and changing needs.
  • Prepare and implement the expenditure budget for technical operations.
  • Coordinate with the Safety Manager to protect the hotel and defend it against fires and natural disasters.
  • Train employees in safety procedures and ensure they are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Manage and audit the Technical Service Department according to policies, procedures, and instructions.
  • Ensure all employees take measures required for occupational and worker health.
  • Participate in Emergency Response Teams and the Fire Extinguishing Team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 6 years of related work experience or 2 years of experience in a lower position with experience applying main principles and/or different methods.
  • Intermediate level English.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office applications and automation knowledge.
  • Good command and monitoring of technical developments and practices.
