We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our team at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Key Responsibilities- Perform server administration activities, including security permissions, group policies, and backup procedures.
- Build, test, and maintain new servers as needed, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues, working closely with stakeholders to identify and implement effective solutions.
- Design and implement procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and develop innovative solutions that meet their needs.
- Develop and maintain code libraries, plugins, and scripts to automate platform environment deployments and backups, improving efficiency and reducing manual errors.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in cloud infrastructure and DevOps.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with AWS Services, including IAM, KMS, S3, Glue, and EC2.
- Proficiency in coding languages such as pySpark, Python, and SQL.
- Knowledge of IaC technologies like Terraform and experience working with Jira and Jira Service Desk.
- Understanding of Big Data technologies like Hive, Hadoop, and Spark, as well as experience working with DataIku DSS or Databricks platform.
