Are you looking for a challenging role in Sales within a dynamic start-up environment? We are seeking a Dutch-speaking Sales Broker for the Energy sector to join our international team in Barcelona. In this position, you will focus on business development for finding new clients – both buyers and sellers. You will build your own client portfolio to manage and build relationships with. Your goal will be to match demand and supply rapidly and ensure long-term value generation for all parties involved.

Key Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities and impact working as a Sales Broker will be:

  • Building and managing your own existing customer portfolio for the biogas certificate market in the Netherlands
  • Ensuring that your clients are up to date about everything that is going on in the market
  • Structuring deals with matching supply and demand and creating a positive outcome for all parties involved
  • Building sustainable relationships with major oil, and energy providers, and other trading companies in the sector
Requirements

Skills, qualifications, and interests you need to succeed in this role:

  • You speak a native level of Dutch, and English fluently
  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree in business or a similar field
  • You have at least 3-5 years of experience in Sales or as a Broker
  • You have experience with cold-calling and do not shy away from difficult situations or conversations
  • You describe yourself as an outgoing, straightforward, and resilient person who flourishes in a fast-paced international environment
  • You are happy to make around 10 client visits a year
