Corporate Lawyer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team at Clarios, LLC. Based in Burgos, Spain, this role will provide legal support and advice to our company on various matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

This is a senior-level position that requires a strong background in commercial transactions and Spanish labor/employment law. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in drafting and negotiating contracts, as well as providing practical, business-savvy counseling to our businesses.

• Provide legal advice and support to various departments, including sales, procurement, human resources, finance, and marketing.
• Manage specific customer relationships as Business Partner identified by the General Counsel EMEA.
• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements, such as supply agreements, distribution contracts, and procurement contracts.
• Advise on and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain corporate policies and procedures.
• Support M&A and other corporate transactions, including conducting due diligence and coordinating with external advisors.

• A Law degree (University or State examination equivalent); admission to practice law in Spain is a plus.
• 3 years of transactional experience, preferably in the automotive/manufacturing industry or in a reputable law firm or corporate legal department of a multi-national corporation.
• Demonstrated expertise in commercial transactions and Spanish labor/employment law.

The estimated salary for this position is around €80,000-€110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
