The Role

We are seeking talented and motivated individuals to join our Centre of Excellence in Barcelona, where they will work on delivering data migration solutions using the Syniti toolset. As a Data Migration Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing client-specific data migration solutions
  • Working with adherence to the Syniti Data Migration methodology
  • Developing and demonstrating a good understanding of business processes for assigned functional areas/data objects
  • Demonstrating a strong knowledge of underlying technical data structures and definitions for assigned functional process areas/data objects
  • Contributing to an integrated data solution through data analysis, reporting, and collaboration with on-site Syniti colleagues and clients
  • Designing, creating, and executing reports in alignment to project deliverables and bespoke client requirements
  • Creating and maintaining data load programs
  • Maintaining related data migration documentation
  • Executing end-to-end data loads and reconciliations
  • Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues
  • Travel: occasional travel may be required at key project milestones

Requirements

  • SAP Functional Knowledge – preferred Modules: FI / SD / MM
  • ERP implementation project experience
  • Technical SQL or ABAP knowledge
  • Solid Data Migration / ETL experience would be a plus
  • Data services a plus, Success Factors desirable (one or the other); user experience
  • Degree level qualification in Computer Science (or other technology / Engineering related field)
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
