Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Oversee the management of sensitive biomedical data in research projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and ethical standards.
- Data Governance: Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure the secure and efficient management of sensitive data.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with scientists, researchers, and internal departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration on data management and ethics.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to researchers and staff on data management and ethics, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to work with sensitive data.
- Contract Management: Negotiate, draft, and manage contracts related to data transfer agreements, ensuring compliance with regulations and ethical standards.
- Education: University degree in health science, IT, or engineering, with a PhD in the biomedical area.
- Experience: At least three years' experience in research project management, with a strong background in data management and ethics.
- Knowledge and Skills: Detailed knowledge of EU GDPR regulations and data processing in the context of biomedical research projects, as well as experience in project management, data governance, and contract management.
- Location: The position will be located at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center within the Life Sciences Department.
- Contract: We offer a full-time contract with a competitive salary, flexible working hours, and a comprehensive benefits package.
