Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Manager, Region South to join our Pricing department in Madrid or Milan. As a key member of our team, you will lead the development and execution of dynamic pricing strategies to drive profitability and competitiveness across Iberia and Italy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Deploy Regional Pricing Strategies: Develop and implement regional pricing strategies to drive business growth and customer retention.
  • Implement Scalable Pricing Processes: Implement scalable pricing processes using data-driven insights and automation to streamline decision-making.
  • Monitor and Adjust Pricing Structures: Monitor and adjust pricing structures to meet or exceed profitability goals, responding proactively to market changes.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Procurement to ensure aligned pricing strategies.
  • Lead a Pricing Team: Build, mentor, and lead a pricing team across the South Region, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure Compliance and Ethics: Guarantee all pricing strategies comply with local laws and corporate policies, maintaining ethical standards and corporate integrity.
  • Oversee Departmental Objectives: Oversee the design and implementation of departmental objectives and metrics, including career development plans for team members.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Initiate and conduct training sessions, workshops, and presentations to promote best practices and innovations.
  • Manage Budgets and Resources: Manage budgets and resources to align with company objectives, optimizing both growth and productivity.

Requirements

  • Regional Pricing Experience: Demonstrated experience developing and executing regional pricing strategies, ideally within the transport or logistics sector.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership in managing geographically dispersed teams.
  • Analytical Skills: At least five years in analytical roles such as Pricing Manager or Revenue Manager, with experience in tech, solutions consulting, or logistics.
  • Data Analysis Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and SQL for advanced data analysis.
  • Business Intelligence Tools: Experience with business intelligence tools like Looker is a plus.
  • Forecasting Models: Proficiency in understanding and applying forecasting models to predict market trends and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
