Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated AI Governance Expert to join our growing AI Center of Excellence at Ecovadis Germany. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the responsible use of AI in our products and AI-assisted automation initiatives, aligning with regulatory and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the responsible use of AI in Ecovadis products and AI-assisted automation initiatives and its alignment with regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Support the implementation of AI governance frameworks and relevant policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies for AI systems.
  • Support reporting on AI governance signals and implementation activities in public disclosures and beyond.
  • Coordinate work across ML engineers and scientists with respect to AI asset repository.
  • Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders including legal teams, procurement, enterprise architecture and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and technology advancements in the field of AI governance and ethics.

Requirements:

  • An outgoing personality along with an exceptional level of drive and a desire to pursue a career in an international and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • M.S. degree in a relevant quantitative subject area.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks related to AI and data protection (e.g., NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, and others).
  • Solid understanding of AI and machine learning lifecycle, principles and tooling including MLOps.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of how AI initiatives drive value in organizations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience of cross-functional collaboration in the development of AI products and services (e.g., Engineers, Product Managers) is a plus.
