Information Security Officer

About the Role:
The Information Security Officer is a critical member of the Small World Financial Services team, responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of all information stored within the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of information security best practices, particularly in the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential security threats and develop strategies to mitigate or eliminate them.
- Develop and implement information security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective implementation of security measures and the identification of potential security risks.
- Monitor and analyze security threats and vulnerabilities, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on information security best practices and procedures.
- Contribute to incident reviews to identify causes and develop strategies to prevent future incidents.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of information security best practices, particularly in the financial services sector.
- Experience in risk management and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team working and ability to work with a virtual team.
