RINA is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Marine Surveyor in its Barcelona office. As a key member of the Marine South-West Europe Region Division, this individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of surveying processes.

### Key Responsibilities

* Serve as a professional specialist in the application of maritime rules, regulations, and industry principles
* Prepare technically accurate and timely reports of inspections and surveys performed
* Maintain survey files in an orderly and up-to-date manner
* Stay up-to-date with new working methods and developments affecting the technical scope of assigned responsibilities
* Recommend new approaches to problems encountered

### Qualifications

* Formal qualification in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Marine Engineer
* 5 years of professional experience in a related field, preferably as a surveyor or in a similar role
* Previous experience as a surveyor of IACS Classification Societies is a significant advantage
* Ability to work in confined spaces, hazardous atmospheres, and extreme temperatures
* Fluency in English, both spoken and written
* Good communication skills and ability to work alone or in a team
