Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will:
- Analyze business and customer needs to identify opportunities for enhancing efficiencies through integration.
- Oversee the delivery of integrated ICT solutions that are crucial for complex systems.
- Assist in the design and implementation of integration processes, including APIs and file-based integrations, while creating technical documentation for reference.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure effective design and development of integration solutions.
- Facilitate requirements gathering, feasibility studies, and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct various tests, including unit and performance tests, and manage the setup of test environments.
- Contribute to project planning, including timelines, cost estimates, and performance metrics.
- Proactively monitor integration performance, troubleshoot issues, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Utilize feedback from users and stakeholders to inform the development of new products and enhancements.
- Engage in vendor and tool selection processes to align with business needs.
- Foster a collaborative environment, working closely with colleagues to achieve project goals.
- Provide mentorship to junior integration engineers.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess:
- A university degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, with five years of relevant experience, or a diploma with seven years of experience.
Experience:
Candidates must have:
- A minimum of five years of experience in the planning, design, and maintenance of critical ICT systems.
- Experience with SCRUM methodologies.
- Proficiency in data integration and workflow scripting.
- Familiarity with integration technologies such as RESTful APIs and OAUTH 2.0.
- Experience with integration platforms like Azure Services and MuleSoft.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and industry-standard technologies.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, and SQL.
