PhD Scholarships in Economics
We are seeking highly qualified candidates for two PhD scholarships in Economics at the Universitat de Barcelona. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to develop their research under the supervision of renowned researchers in the field of Economics.
About the Scholarships
The scholarships are funded by the Universitat de Barcelona and are designed to support students who aim to pursue a PhD in Economics. The scholarships will cover the full cost of tuition fees and provide a stipend of €15,000 per year.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarships, candidates must have a Master's degree in Economics completed by the summer of 2013 and fulfill the admission requirements of the PhD program in Economics at the Universitat de Barcelona. A strong academic record and proficiency in English are also required.

Teaching Duties
As part of their scholarship, the successful candidates will be required to teach applied economics courses at the undergraduate or graduate level within the department of Public Economics at the Universitat de Barcelona.
