Economics Professorship Opportunity

IQS - Universitat Ramon Llull is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of University Professorship in Economics. This is a tenure-ladder position, and the academic rank will be determined based on the candidate's experience and productivity.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, depending on their area of expertise. They must demonstrate evidence of innovative research of international standing and show the ability to play an effective and collegial role in the School of Management.
The School of Management is part of IQS - Universitat Ramon Llull, a confederation of schools, faculties, and departments. We are committed to cultivating individuals with values and competencies needed to flourish humanely and professionally.
The successful candidate will be joining a vibrant, collaborative, and friendly environment within one of the most traditional research centers in Barcelona. Our School belongs to the selected group of AACSB accredited business schools in Spain.
We encourage applications from all fields of Economics, with a particular interest in areas such as behavioral economics, experimental economics, labor economics, poverty and inequality, and international development.
The candidate is expected to develop their research in the Sustainability, Economics, and Ethics (SEE) research group.
The selection process will take into account the candidate's fulfillment of the following criteria:
- A doctorate in a relevant aspect of economics (or strong evidence of completion of such a doctorate is imminent).
- Evidence of high-quality publications.
- Evidence of ability to engage in international collaborations commensurate with career stage.
- Evidence of interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Spanish is desirable.
- Experience of teaching at university level is desirable.
