We are seeking an experienced Gameplay Programmer to join our team at IO Interactive, a renowned videogame development and publishing company. As part of our Brighton, Barcelona, Malmö, and Istanbul offices, you will be working on the highly anticipated James Bond video game.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of professional experience in gameplay programming, specifically with AAA titles. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining systems and code for characters, cameras, control schemes, weapons, gadgets, abilities, progression, and interactions. Proficiency in C++ is a must, as you will be working primarily in this language to create visual building blocks for our designers using our in-house technology, Glacier.
As a key member of our game team, you will collaborate creatively with other programmers, designers, and content creators to build and enrich the game. Your expertise will enable us to deliver engaging gameplay experiences for our future players. If you are passionate about creating high-quality games and possess a strong foundation in C++, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
**What We Offer**
We provide a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. Our hybrid setup allows you to work from home 2 days a week and enjoy a welcoming and inclusive work environment with over 40 nationalities represented across our studios.
