Software Development Engineer II for AWS Marketplace Offers

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer II to join the AWS Marketplace Offers team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and operating complex software systems that support the growth and success of AWS Marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and reliable software systems that meet the needs of AWS Marketplace customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and marketing, to understand customer needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensure high-quality code, and contribute to the development of best practices and standards.
  • Work closely with the AWS Support team to ensure that customer issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in cloud computing and software development.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems.
  • Experience programming with modern languages such as Java, C++, or C#.
  • Experience with cloud computing and software development in a cloud environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Experience building and operating services in the cloud utilizing serverless and non-relational database technologies.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
