About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Developer II to join our Bing Platform UHRS Team in Microsoft AI. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions to enable data annotation using Large Language Models (LLMs) and a large, diverse, worldwide set of labelers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of a new serving architecture for scalability and high performance.
  • Work on a task recommendation system for labelers to optimize their productivity and efficiency.
  • Implement task and labeler dashboards and contribute to the analysis of labeler performance and task quality.
  • Contribute to the development of new features and capabilities to enable groundbreaking scenarios in AI.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine requirements for new features and contribute to the estimation of project timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Relevant programming experience in languages such as C#, C++, Java, or Python.
  • Strong software engineering background with experience in writing robust and maintainable production code.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills and customer empathy.
  • Passionate and self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
