Within our company, the big data analytics team provides a range of products that enable data engineers and data scientists to extract intelligence from all data structured, semi-structured, and unstructured.
We are in the process of integrating our disparate products into Azure Synapse Analytics with a set of experiences that are meant to simplify and accelerate time to value.
The Big Data Analytics team is looking for an experienced developer for the position of Software Development Engineer II.

Key Responsibilities
- Create, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to establish and improve performance, maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements for product scenarios.
- Drive identification of dependencies and the documentation and development of design to completion for a feature, product, application, service, or platform.
- Leverage subject-matter expertise of product features and partners with stakeholders to drive a workgroup's project plans, release plans, and work items.
- Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and guide other engineers in developing and following the playbook, working on call to monitor system / product / service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions, alerting stakeholders about status and initiates actions to restore system / product / service for simple and complex problems when appropriate.
- Proactively seek new knowledge and adapt to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.
