About the Role

Splunk is a leading provider of unified security and observability platforms, empowering enterprises to build a safer and more resilient digital world. As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in helping customers achieve their security and observability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pre-sales technical support to develop sales opportunities across Iberia
  • Utilize product knowledge to deliver technical expertise to customers and sales staff through sales presentations and product demonstrations
  • Guide prospects through the technical aspects of the sales process
  • Collaborate with peers and sales teams to identify, grow, and land opportunities
  • Build, grow, and maintain relationships with customers' and prospects' technical teams
  • Deliver excellent presentations, both business-focused and technical
  • Attend and demonstrate Splunk solutions at field events, such as conferences and trade shows
  • Respond to tender documents, such as RFIs/RFPs
  • Deliver and manage Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements to a successful outcome
  • Address customer concerns and questions to a successful outcome
  • Develop relevant presales material, such as business cases and competitive insight documents
Requirements
  • 5+ years of presales experience, with security and APM/DevOps/observability knowledge
  • Based in Madrid
  • Strong communication skills, including excellent verbal and written skills in local language and English
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record in technical software sales and knowledge of technology
  • Ability to be organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles using creative and adaptive approaches
  • Proficient in Spanish and English
