Transforming the Future of Renewable Energy

Siemens Gamesa is a global leader in the wind industry, and we are seeking a dedicated Product Owner / Technical Project Manager to play a key role in driving the development of our Off- and Onshore Wind Turbine Towers.

As a Product Owner / Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the technical realization of our international development projects, solution development, and Cost Out for tower secondary structures. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the project from initial target definition and project initialization through execution and development phase, including validation and creation of final technical documentation.
  • Coordinating project team members within the department and company-wide stakeholders, guiding and supervising supporting roles like CAD, FEA, and BOM creation.
  • Representing the project and sharing status in review and project gate meetings.
  • Developing tasks driven by a strive for Serial Production philosophy and standardization, as well as Cost Out for the challenging environment of a Wind turbine, including static and dynamic loads, personal safety aspects, harsh environmental conditions, international sourcing, and installation.
  • Product validation and prototype tests from the development side and providing feedback on experience.
  • Acting as a central contact point inside and outside the company, connecting with technical experts and stakeholders to support efficient communication and solution-finding processes.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a passion for renewable energy and a sense of the importance of leading the change. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical domain, mechanical engineering, aviation, or similar.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a technical project manager, project engineer, or similar.
  • Self-driven, motivated, and engaged in delivering tasks within deadlines.
  • Ability to overcome challenges and persistence in development.
  • Basic knowledge of CAD systems (preferably Siemens NX).
  • Coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to build up a network within an international team and collaborate with an intercultural team.
  • Proficient English.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
