Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Editor to join our team at DAZN. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Top of the Funnel (TOTF) strategy, ensuring that our content is engaging, accessible, and presented in the best way to maximize audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement TOTF strategy to make DAZN the ultimate sports destination product for all content consumption, betting, and e-commerce.
- Ensure all customer-facing channels and content are editorially and commercially aligned with TOTF objectives, ensuring content is accessible, discoverable, and presented in the best way to maximize engagement.
- Work with global platform teams to align on TOTF strategy and assist them in implementing the approach, providing governance across TOTF approach.
- Help drive the DAZN News strategy to improve acquisition and engagement.
- Work closely with Rights Acquisition to ensure new content is considered and presented to all authorized and unauthorized users across our platforms.
- Run weekly and monthly schedules on Free to Air events to help enable Marketing and CRM strategy around promotion of these live events.
- Run analytics across engagement to help drive strategy.
Requirements
- A strong editorial background and editorial and commercial experience working in the sports broadcast industry.
- Experience and ability to present to senior leads in the business, with data-backed insights.
- Experience using Business Intelligence software, including Tableau and Looker.
- Experience running OTT output.
- Extremely strong attention to detail.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong eye for engaging imagery and headlines.
