About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Python Developer to join our development team in Barcelona. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust applications using Python, Django, and MySQL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable and efficient web applications using Python, Django, and MySQL
  • Work closely with senior members of the development team and business stakeholders to deliver new features and services
  • Ensure the uptime and recoverability of our bespoke booking engine and student administration application
  • Refine and evolve the existing codebase to meet the changing business requirements
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and implement technical solutions
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in developing web applications using Python, Django, and SQL
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design and experience with Git/Github
  • Proven ability to write clean, well-documented code and experience with API development and consumption
  • Knowledge of defensive coding and application security, including SQL injection and XSS vulnerabilities
  • Experience with server setup and configuration, including Rackspace
  • Working knowledge of PHP and data modeling within a MySQL environment
