Chubb is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Underwriter Iberia to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our Middle Market Segment, you will be responsible for underwriting Cyber and Infotech business, ensuring the integrity of our underwriting guidelines and controls, and driving profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Underwrite new business and complex renewals according to defined underwriting guidelines and budget.
- Develop and implement an underwriting strategy to achieve profitability, ensuring quality control and best performers segments.
- Prioritize and develop products within Cyber Line to improve client retention and new business.
- Represent and promote Chubb to brokers, increasing market visibility and cross-selling opportunities.
- Comply with all policies, controls, authorities, and reporting requirements, working within Chubb's service standards and ethical guidelines.
- University degree in IT, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Economics, or equivalent qualification.
- Spanish native or bilingual, with proficiency in English.
- Minimum 4/5 years of experience in market Insurance, underwriting, and sales, with knowledge of industry procedures and practices.
- Comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of the Cyber product and Spanish insurance market.
- Excellent communication and commercial skills, with ability to negotiate and get profitable business.
- Results-driven, with ability to make decisions within technical underwriting guides and developed strategy.
