Localization Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Media Localization Project Manager to lead our team at Happy Scribe Ltd. Based in Barcelona, we are a 100% bootstrapped and profitable startup, dedicated to breaking language barriers globally and bringing audiovisual content to all.
This is a hybrid role, with about 80% of the time spent collaborating in person. Our speech-to-text technology isn't 100% accurate yet, so we need a skilled Project Manager to manage the linguistic team and execute projects from start to finish.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in the Media localization industry, expertise in different transcription, subtitling, and translation workflows, and excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for managing costs, linguists, turnaround times, ensuring quality assurance, and overseeing projects through to successful completion.
We offer a competitive salary of €60,000 per year, equity, travel bonuses, mental health support, vacation time, visa sponsorship, relocation help, private health insurance, e-learning platforms, conferences or courses of your choice, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project management, vendor management, and customer experience.
- Developing and implementing process improvements, tools, and best practices.

- Ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery, monitoring progress, and making adjustments as needed.
